The Eyal is a 3x21 scope produced in Israel for use by the IDF. It mounts via a carry handle mount much like the Colt 3x20 scopes. While primarily used on Galil and M16 based rifles it shows up used by a number of other weapons in IDF use. Services dates are unclear, but photos show it in IDF use as late as 1993 (Rottman, 2011). Scopes found on the US second hand market are all surplus and often show signs of heavy use with extensive finish wear and damaged mounting brackets, despite this they are usually in good condition where it counts.
